Ghosts A Foot

 As are most things associated with the American Civil War, the haunted Sachs Covered Bridge is yet another on the long list of haunted structures found in Pennsylvania. Used by both Confederate and Union forces during the Battle of Gettysburg, the Sachs bridge served as the execution site for at least three Southern soldiers, providing the backdrop for the otherworldly activity said to take place there. Built in 1852 by David S. Stoner, the Sachs Covered Bridge extends 100 feet and serves to connect land separated by Gettysburg’s Marsh Creek. For more than a century it allowed vehicles and pedestrians access in their travels. However, due to weakening abutments over the decades, this beautiful historic landmark was closed to all automobiles by 1968. Almost 30 years later, flooding caused the bridge to be shaken from its foundation, requiring over half a million dollars to fully restore it with steel support beams.  No list of creepy church ghost sightings caught on camera would be complete without this famous photo of The White Lady of Worstead Church. The photo was captured in 1975, by Peter Berthelot while visiting Worstead Church in Norfolk, England. The woman in the yellow dress is Peter’s wife, Diane and neither of the two noticed the ghostly figure sitting behind Diane until a friend pointed it out whilst thumbing through the photos some months later. The following year the couple returned to Worstead Church where they showed the photo to Reverend Pettit, the church vicar. The Reverend immediately recognized the apparition as The White Lady. He explained to the couple that she was a kind, healing soul and that she was a resident of the church who had been seen in the area for more than 100 years.

This photo was taken by a Mr Bootman while visiting a church in the village on Eastry, England. Bootman claims that when he took the photo the only other person present in the church was the cleaning lady. When the image was first developed it was thought that it showed the ghost of a vicar who had once resided over the church. Could it be possible? The figure certainly appears to be praying. His head is bowed, hands are clasped and he has a solemn look on his face. What do you think? Some creepy ghosts appear to enjoy watching during carefree moments that friends spend together outdoors. At least, that’s what they were doing when this chilling video was captured by YouTuber, They were using a phone camera to record while two of their friends were playing catch on the lawn of the school campus one afternoon. Tipold was waiting for his fellow firefighters to prepare a hose when he decided to pull out his phone to snap a photo documenting the fire for evidence. When their sister snapped these scary ghost photos, the whole family became believers.
