The White Lady of Worstead Church


 No list of creepy church ghost sightings caught on camera would be complete without this famous photo of The White Lady of Worstead Church.


The photo was captured in 1975, by Peter Berthelot while visiting Worstead Church in Norfolk, England. The woman in the yellow dress is Peter’s wife, Diane and neither of the two noticed the ghostly figure sitting behind Diane until a friend pointed it out whilst thumbing through the photos some months later.


The following year the couple returned to Worstead Church where they showed the photo to Reverend Pettit, the church vicar. The Reverend immediately recognized the apparition as The White Lady. He explained to the couple that she was a kind, healing soul and that she was a resident of the church who had been seen in the area for more than 100 years.

1 LaVeta Place in Nyack, New York  A “legally” haunted New York house is on the market again. Former owner Helen Ackley — who lived in the Queen Anne Victorian at 1 LaVeta Place in Nyack, from the 1960s to the late 1980s — publicly asserted the presence of various poltergeists who hailed from the Revolutionary War era and regularly shook beds, slammed doors and traipsed the halls with their phantom footsteps. GHOST on a plane!

Ghosts on a plane? Francisco Hernandez was finishing his shift when he heard a mysterious noise coming from the plane and went to investigate. As the 32-year-old shines his torch down the aisle, a shadowy figure peers around the corner at him. In the horror footage, Francisco was left trembling with fear after clocking off at 3am.
